These are unprotected, high-capacity, high-drain LiON batteries that can be had at places like IMRbatteries dot com for a few bucks a pop. Highly recommended.)

When I connect it to micro USB, LED1+2 switch on, after ~1 sec LED3+4 go on, after yet another ~1 sec all LEDs switch off, and so on... Cannot find any description what this means. When I connect it to RasPi Zero W: I can measure voltage, it works as UPS, but the battery slowly discharges and no charging.)

I am unable to get the battery test to work, ill try to figure that out soon. The only thing extra is, that I would have liked to have solder pads for input power along with the current connector. Very Nice... if you could point me to how to fix the batter level indication, I would be appreciated. Also if there is a more detailed user manual than the single sheet. Love the Hat ! I will reccomen...)

You must have missed an enabling step, also be sure that you have power connected to x708 and not the PI directly. 1. Enable i2c 2. Reboot 3. clone x728 project from github 4. Open x728.sh and comment out first four lines 5. Install the x728 features/scripts 6. sudo x728softsd.sh #shut it down)
