  • 01:39, 11 January 2024 93.41.237.150 talk posted a new comment on XScript (I wrote to support because after setting up the power service the Raspberry is stuck in a boot loop. According to support this is normal while the X-c1 hardware is not connected to the Raspberry. I think that this is a HUGE PROBLEM since the Raspberry becomes unusable if it's separated from the hardware or if the hardware should fail. I advise everyone to STAY AWAY from this script and possibly from the product: since the raspberry is stuck it's no longer possible to access it.)
  • 01:34, 11 January 2024 37.201.213.47 talk posted a new comment on P165 (The P165-B cannot be installed on my Raspberry Pi 4 Model B because the block for the RAM is to thick even without the thermal pad. The heatsink sits on the RAM and wobbles in all directions) Tags: Mobile web edit, Mobile edit

  • 05:31, 10 January 2024 109.250.130.185 talk posted a new comment on XScript (Same here. I installed the scripts on a Raspberry Pi 4B with DietPi (which is Debian under the hood). Fan script is working well, but the shutdown script only prints the downtime info and does nothing afterwards. Need some assistance here.)
  • 14:32, 9 January 2024 107.192.107.159 talk posted a new comment on X-UPS1 (Hello, button top of flat top 18650? Protection circuit? For US users, it's be helpful to link to batteries on imrbatteries.com, as they specify many details like that.) Tags: Mobile web edit, Mobile edit
  • 10:23, 9 January 2024 68.226.119.5 talk posted a new comment on X728 (I too would appreciate a 10-30 vdc input on the 5521 jack. It's easy to provide that range and let the x728 drop it to 5.1 +/-5%. It's much harder to build up an external 5.1 v 4 amp ps. I'd happily pay extra for that feature.)
  • 17:53, 8 January 2024 Walker talk contribs posted a new comment on X728 (We just did a simple test, by unplugging or plugging in the USB-C port, the X728 V2.5 is able to restore the power , it is not clear what the exact cause of your situation, you can contact our technical support at '''support@geekworm.com ''' ,If possible, you can provide a video of your operation, so that we can more clearly understand the causes of the problem.(By the way, provide your order number))

  • 22:15, 6 January 2024 86.38.74.3 talk posted a new comment on X728 (Hello, we looking for solution to softshutdown RPI4B when power fails and boot again when power restores in factory - over 100pcs. Can x728 achieve this function? Purchased one x728v2.5 for tests - installed exactly as instructed here but it behaves strange. Shoulddown action is ok, but when power restores it does no boot. If power removed and restored once again - RPI starts as expeted. Does anybody know what is that? Any cjances to resolve this? AUTO_ON jumper installed. Shutdown is done b...)
  • 13:45, 5 January 2024 47.17.236.33 talk posted a new comment on C296 (The Heatsink feet are 0.090" off the surface of the heatsink. the Pi Zero 2017 has CPU about 0.050 and the copper pad was 0.030 think.. so a film of Heatsink compound of 0.005 per side will do it. THe Bluetooth was super tiny, and only 0.010 off the board. so i doubled up the thicker heat sink compound and let it rip. if it overheats, I'll slip in some copper strip between.)

  • 23:03, 3 January 2024 109.43.240.199 talk posted a new comment on X728-hardware (Can you please provide details what each GPIO does (instead of just writing "Power Management")? I could figure out from some forum posts, that when GPIO12 goes low, the x728 should power down with some delay. In my case this is not working. The aim is to power down the Raspberry safely via "poweroff" and then cut the power. Again details to the funciton of the GPIOs would be great. Like for example "Pulling GPIO26 high for 2s cuts the power". Otherwise its guesswork from the scripts.)
  • 21:58, 3 January 2024 58.11.52.17 talk posted a new comment on X950 software (On piCorePlayer 8.2.0 64-bit, I don't get any sound. I tried both "Audiophonics ISabre Q2M" and "RPi DAC")
  • 18:13, 3 January 2024 Walker talk contribs posted a new comment on PiKVM-A3 (Hello, KVM-A3 with 2.5x20, P165-B height of 11MM, normally, with 2.5 * 9 + 5 or 2.5 * 9 + 6 are feasible!)
  • 15:39, 3 January 2024 27.116.208.36 talk posted a new comment on PiKVM-A3 (Just thought I'd confirm for anyone interested that the Raspberry Pi 4 11mm embedded heatsink (P165-B) is compatible with the KVM-A3 Kit using four 2.5x9+6 standoffs instead of the 2.5x20 standoffs included in the KVM-A3 Kit. The fan doesn't get in the way and everything fits perfectly.)

  • 09:57, 2 January 2024 76.178.139.135 talk posted a new comment on LVDS Adapter (Anonymous User #25 asked why there were two LVDS inputs on some boards. I don't think of them as both inputs, they're just two sets of pins. I use the second set as an "output" to make sure that my LVDS signal still works by running it to a monitor.)

  • 11:13, 25 December 2023 Walker talk contribs posted a new comment on P394 (Hi, the design principle of this acrylic case is like this, using 9 layers of acrylic stacked on top of each other, if you don't like this kind of design, you can consider our Pi 5 metal case: [https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256806091879071.html?gatewayAdapt=glo2usa4itemAdapt''' ''' P573])
  • 20:15, 23 December 2023 94.110.204.43 talk posted a new comment on P394 (It all feels compressed when mounted. The power buttonhole was not present. Had the original cooler installed before mounting, which went fine. The design has to be revised as it is not a decent fit for the Pi5.)
  • 00:40, 23 December 2023 154.6.90.21 talk posted a new comment on X728-script (So what is the expected result on a v2.5 when shorting both "Auto ON" and "CHG EN"? I'm trying to understand the appropriate hardware configuration on a v2.5 to get it to auto start and auto charge without programming. I would agree that it would be reasonable to expect the v2.5 to be able to meet the requirement. Your answer seems to be dodging the actual question.)
  • 22:46, 22 December 2023 94.31.90.222 talk posted a new comment on P394 (This thing makes no sense at all. I need a case to protect the device and I don't want to disassemble essential parts (active cooler) every time I change something. Also, the Pi does not have a reasonable hold in the case - it is only held in place by pressure. Totally useless and pointless.)
