- 19:46, 10 March 2023 Harry talk contribs posted a new comment on X-C1 Software (It is recommended that you install our script so that the fan speed is automatically adjusted according to the CPU temperature Please contact us at email support@geekworm.com if you have any questions.)
- 19:45, 10 March 2023 Harry talk contribs posted a new comment on X-C1 Software (But actually we do not recommend you to use the official FAN CONTROL, because it does not support fan speed adjustment, it just makes the fan run at full speed when the temperature exceeds your set temperature. If you want to run the fan at full speed unconditionally, just remove the FAN CONTROL jumper on the x-c1 shield.)

- 05:51, 10 March 2023 87.198.115.15 talk posted a new comment on X-C1 Software (Hi, thank you for your efforts. I may have wrecked my install at a certain point. Entered the sudo raspi-config -> Performance options -> Fan control. Here I didnt want to choose anything but couldnt go back so ended up picking 14 (the default value). Now my fan seems not to be working. Can you tell me which value should be there so I can default to it again please? Thanks)

- 19:14, 2 March 2023 88.163.104.188 talk posted a new comment on RPi UPSPack (Hello , I am now the proud owner of UPSPACK_V2 & it works well :-) I have a question - my ups is connected to a raspberry with the UPS connected via a standard 5V Rpi transformer. If I have a power-cut the battery takes over & keeps the Pi alive until the battery runs out or the power is restored. In the power-cut situation a shutdown is done to protect the RPi if the battery is discharged , BUT when the external power comes back it seems that the RPi cannot restart even if the UPS is still ch...)
- 20:37, 1 March 2023 62.245.250.205 talk posted a new comment on X728-hardware (Thank you Harry, To operate an additional SD Card Reader we need to use hardware SPI interface, Raspi has two. SPI0 uses pins 19,21,23 for MISO/MOSI/SCLK, which is unusable for us as we have a Lidar on UART4, which is also using pin 21... SPI1 is hard wired to pins 35, 38, 40 for MISO/MOSI/SCLK, which cant be changed. Right now I am trying to find out a pin layout where I have no collisions. The problem is we have to use I2C, 4 different UARTs, SPI and X728 at the same time + MIPI touchscr...)
- 12:32, 1 March 2023 Harry talk contribs posted a new comment on X728-hardware (You can also use other GPIOs (such as PIN 17- PIN26), why must use PIN37 and PIN38? Refer to 800px Harry / Geekworm)
- 12:02, 1 March 2023 156.146.53.115 talk posted a new comment on X728-hardware (Believe us, it is really difficult to choose which GPIO to use. It seems that we have no other GPIO to use. No matter which GPIO we choose, it may not satisfy everyone. Thank you for raising a new requirement. The X728 has undergone at least 5 revisions, and there is no way to satisfy all users, just like chatGPTb, which is in full swing, cannot satisfy everyone. This is really a frustrating thing. . . . But your questions will be the driving force for us to move forward. Harry/Geekworm)
- 00:41, 1 March 2023 62.245.250.205 talk posted a new comment on X728-hardware (Hi, using pins 37 and 38 is a bad idea - it is SPI1 interface of RASPI and cant be changed, and is needed by our project. How to disable these on X728?)
- 15:14, 27 February 2023 Lisa talk contribs posted a new comment on X820 (Hi,Sorry, we don't sell DC5V power supply now, it is recommended that you buy a high-quality DC 5V power supply. If use a poor quality power supply, the SSD/HDD may not be identified or be damaged. Or you can consider using X735 power management board, which supports Type C 5V and DC6V~30V,and you can use our Type C5V 4A or DC12V power supply.)
- 10:35, 26 February 2023 67.255.113.243 talk posted a new comment on X820 (I believe I’m having a power supply issue. It is 5v and 4amp. The case purchased was the X820 can you direct me to a power supply that you believe is of good quality on the Internet or within your store for purchase. I have the device powering up without any issue at all. I do believe it’s under powered at this point, and I purchased a faulty or less than satisfactory power supply. Thank you in advance for your consideration of the question and your assistance.)

- 12:40, 13 February 2023 209.58.189.232 talk posted a new comment on X-C1 Software (Of course, if you don’t want to use the pigpiod library, you can use the fan-rpi.py file, which removes the dependency on the pigpiod library; for example, python3 fan-rpi.py)
- 12:38, 13 February 2023 209.58.189.232 talk posted a new comment on X-C1 Software (Note: the fan script is only required pigpiod library and python3-rpi.gpio dependent library. it has nothing to do with x-c1-softsd.sh. The x-c1-softsd.sh file is only responsible for safe shutdown)
- 12:34, 13 February 2023 113.87.183.220 talk posted a new comment on X-C1 Software (Don't comment out '/usr/local/bin/x-c1-softsd.sh' in rc.local file, and this file is to safe shutdown. You need to use 'xoff' to turn off the pi 4 not 'poweroff'.)

- 22:01, 10 February 2023 178.213.64.35 talk posted a new comment on X-C1 Software (I've seen that the '/usr/local/bin/x-c1-softsd.sh' is added in the rc.local during installation, comment this line fix the reboot/boot issue. But the fan script doesn't work. Is it best to use the fan-rpi.py instead ? When I turn off the rpi, the fan still working, any solutions ?)

Bought both boards - keeping P165-A and returning the P165-B. P165-A is compatible with the board, the case needs a very small adjustment - one of the plastic parts that keep the board in place is conflicting with one of the corners of the radiator. The plastic needs to be cut a bit. Of course it's not possible to use the fan, so a passive cooling only. You earn about 10 C on average. P165-B is to thick - it...)
