When I install the software the fan starts spining fine. Read fan speed comes up with errors. x735off is not working and comes up with errors. When I now restart the Pi4 the fan stops again. Installed raspbian and libreelec to the drive, and system has been very unstable on 5 ghz wifi, often refusing to connect, and USB drive keeps unmounting, crashing the system. I get crashes during data transfers to the drive. My mouse stops lighting up. It seems like the drive is losing power. The only connection I can see for power is the USB U plug. I install the script and for some reason, it reboots randomly with the power button flashing. And the fan will not start. It works fine until I install the script, then it craps itself every time. The output of sudo systemctl shows pigpiod service enabled and running on boot, but the fan doesn't run. The only way to get the fan running is to kill the pigpiod process, restart it with sudo pigpiod and then manually run the fan script.)

I added the crontab job as detailed below, but the fan doesn't come on when the machine is booted. I tried to test the script by running it directly with: python /home/pi/x-c1/fan.py however I get the error: Did you start the pigpiod daemon? I am only able to get the python script running if I manually kill the pigpiod daemon and restart it. How can I fix this? Its annoying to have to remember to kill the daemon, restart it,...)
