- 17:33, 28 February 2021 217.155.30.29 talk posted a new comment on X862 V1.0 (So your proberbly trying to use an NVME or 3DNAND SSD? The only one I got to work was an M and B keyed SSSD from WD in the Green product line, this is because the NGFF whilf M.2 and keyed the same only uses ACHI, afaik, ACHI only runs SATA (ACHI mode) and 3DNand (WD Blue) or NVMe (Samsung/Kingston et al) is not compatiable with the board, they now sell an NVME product so I would return this one and get that if your still in the RMA window. It is worth noting the limitation of the board is its...)

- 23:31, 24 February 2021 95.223.57.220 talk posted a new comment on P173 (1. Recent packages come with 8 thermal tapes (2 of each type). Is this for redundancy / spare or shall they be "stacked" for better contact between components and heat pillars? 2. I Hope it´s clear for everybody to remove the transparent foil from the tape on both sides before installation ;-))

- 18:19, 22 February 2021 37.167.136.99 talk posted a new comment on X835 (Hi, I guess no one will reply me about that but let me take a try : I'd like to use it on my Raspberry Pi 4 but it already got a HAT that doesn't allow to connect something else on GPIOs pins (the concerned HAT is Hifiberry DAC+ DSP, sadly we can't put links here). So here is my question, could we make the x835 board power the Raspberry through USB-C than through GPIOs (like with an adapter or something) ? Thanks very much to the one who'll answer this, if only you exist...)

We are using 12 18650 batteries (2200 mAH each one). At the documentation talks about 3A via DC jack fast charging. Could you help us?)

- 18:03, 19 February 2021 84.39.86.104 talk posted a new comment on UPS3 (Given that the Voltage of this UPS Hat is specified as 3.7V could we also use LiFePo4 batteries rated at 3.6V? Most other HATs charge up to 4.2V and that's way to much. We're just 0.1V above that ... so would it be save to use LiFePo4? I really don't trust Lithium-Batteries at all for that use-case ...)
- 05:02, 19 February 2021 165.225.242.199 talk posted a new comment on X728-Software (I did not see an answer to this question: How do you turn the UPS off after an hour with no power? also, How do you turn on the x728 and boot the PI with power applied to the x728 and then soft-shutdown the PI and then turn off the x728 after the power is removed?)
- 00:39, 19 February 2021 96.224.229.125 talk posted a new comment on X180 (Can this be used with the X750 board as well? I currently have an X750 and an X708 connected to my RPi 4 for 12 cell 18650 power but would like to add more USB ports.)

- 09:08, 16 February 2021 83.81.183.238 talk posted a new comment on X829 (I have bought a complete set containing the X829 and the UPS_U100_V12 on AliExpress in stead of the X708. The UPS_U100_V12 however does not fit on the raspberry pi because the spacers delivered with it are too long! Is it compatible anyway?)

I've removed the power jumper. The light turns blue on the power button when I press it. The power supply I am using is output 6v, 2amps. Should that work?)
- 05:04, 12 February 2021 97.113.140.29 talk posted a new comment on X728 (Tired your suggestion, but no success. I even drained both batteries completely and the tried again. Oddly, that worked at first, but once the batteries got charged up to a certain point, the x728 shut down the RPi. I have no idea what's going on, but no one from Geekworm is responding on their dedicated forum. I'm not inclined to purchase any more of their products.)

- 17:35, 10 February 2021 82.6.0.80 talk posted a new comment on X728 (For anyone wondering. setting GPIO 13 as out and high will turn off the x728. Would be really helpful to have that listed here as not everyone can install the soft as lifted in this wiki. I am using it on a pi running android.)
- 01:43, 10 February 2021 82.6.0.80 talk posted a new comment on X728-Software (How do you turn the UPS off after an hour with no power? I've set up my PI to shutdown after an hour with no power reading GPIO6 but I cant get it to turn the UPS off. This means when I apply power again nothing happens as the UPS or PI never actually shutdown.)

After all the installation procedures, when I try to run any of the Python scripts like (rpi-2.2TFT-kbrd.py, for example), I get an error: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/home/pi/Downloads/Python-keys/rpi-2.2TFT-jstk.py", line 26, in <module> import RPi.GPIO as GPIO RuntimeError: This module can only be run on a Raspberry Pi! - 23:33, 7 February 2021 95.90.215.5 talk posted a new comment on X728 (had the same problem, the Raspberry starts briefly and switches off again. After trying for a long time, it worked again using the following procedure. 1. Disconnect the X728 from the Raspberry and remove the batteries 2. Put the X728 back on the Raspberry 3. Insert the batteries (Raspberry must not start, it did it for me every now and then, then start all over again) 3. USB-C charger on connect the X728 4. Switch on X728. - 07:04, 5 February 2021 97.113.140.29 talk posted a new comment on X728 (I installed and used an x728 hat on an RPi4 a few months ago, and it worked great. Unfortunately, I had to do a complete reinstall of the operating system on that Pi, and when I went to reinstall the x728... I can't get it to work. When I try to boot it up (by applying power from the power brick via the usb-c port on the x728), I can see the red and green lights on the RPi start to flash as they would during startup, but then it simply shuts down after about three seconds. This happens every...)

If i set the autostart mode to off, it just turn off, and when i press the button it starts and power down after 10-60 seconds. If i detach all loads, it stays on, and slowly get charged. - 09:24, 2 February 2021 210.2.53.195 talk posted a new comment on X829 (I use X829, X735 and Pi4. It has SSD 128GB and 2.5" 4TB HDD, and I connect 5V 5A SMPS power adapter to X735. When I copy large size file to 4TB HDD, Pi intermittently hang and no response, I have to do hard reset. Other experts suggestion is that maybe this problem is from insufficient power. Can I use another power supply to connect X829 and disconnect power connector between X829 and X735, is it no problem?)
- 00:52, 2 February 2021 84.203.113.89 talk posted a new comment on P173 (Great product for anyone requiring passive cooling. One of the only passive cooling solutions with 4 point cooling pillars including the USB controller. USB controller gets hot on the pi4 so that is a major plus. Scalpel or sharp blade recommended for separating the plastic covers either side of the thermal pads. Well engineered case, fits really well. I would buy another)
