  • 23:03, 3 January 2024 109.43.240.199 talk posted a new comment on X728-hardware (Can you please provide details what each GPIO does (instead of just writing "Power Management")? I could figure out from some forum posts, that when GPIO12 goes low, the x728 should power down with some delay. In my case this is not working. The aim is to power down the Raspberry safely via "poweroff" and then cut the power. Again details to the funciton of the GPIOs would be great. Like for example "Pulling GPIO26 high for 2s cuts the power". Otherwise its guesswork from the scripts.)
  • 21:58, 3 January 2024 58.11.52.17 talk posted a new comment on X950 software (On piCorePlayer 8.2.0 64-bit, I don't get any sound. I tried both "Audiophonics ISabre Q2M" and "RPi DAC")
  • 18:13, 3 January 2024 Walker talk contribs posted a new comment on PiKVM-A3 (Hello, KVM-A3 with 2.5x20, P165-B height of 11MM, normally, with 2.5 * 9 + 5 or 2.5 * 9 + 6 are feasible!)
  • 15:39, 3 January 2024 27.116.208.36 talk posted a new comment on PiKVM-A3 (Just thought I'd confirm for anyone interested that the Raspberry Pi 4 11mm embedded heatsink (P165-B) is compatible with the KVM-A3 Kit using four 2.5x9+6 standoffs instead of the 2.5x20 standoffs included in the KVM-A3 Kit. The fan doesn't get in the way and everything fits perfectly.)

  • 09:57, 2 January 2024 76.178.139.135 talk posted a new comment on LVDS Adapter (Anonymous User #25 asked why there were two LVDS inputs on some boards. I don't think of them as both inputs, they're just two sets of pins. I use the second set as an "output" to make sure that my LVDS signal still works by running it to a monitor.)

  • 11:13, 25 December 2023 Walker talk contribs posted a new comment on P394 (Hi, the design principle of this acrylic case is like this, using 9 layers of acrylic stacked on top of each other, if you don't like this kind of design, you can consider our Pi 5 metal case: [https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256806091879071.html?gatewayAdapt=glo2usa4itemAdapt''' ''' P573])
  • 20:15, 23 December 2023 94.110.204.43 talk posted a new comment on P394 (It all feels compressed when mounted. The power buttonhole was not present. Had the original cooler installed before mounting, which went fine. The design has to be revised as it is not a decent fit for the Pi5.)
  • 00:40, 23 December 2023 154.6.90.21 talk posted a new comment on X728-script (So what is the expected result on a v2.5 when shorting both "Auto ON" and "CHG EN"? I'm trying to understand the appropriate hardware configuration on a v2.5 to get it to auto start and auto charge without programming. I would agree that it would be reasonable to expect the v2.5 to be able to meet the requirement. Your answer seems to be dodging the actual question.)
  • 22:46, 22 December 2023 94.31.90.222 talk posted a new comment on P394 (This thing makes no sense at all. I need a case to protect the device and I don't want to disassemble essential parts (active cooler) every time I change something. Also, the Pi does not have a reasonable hold in the case - it is only held in place by pressure. Totally useless and pointless.)
  • 10:49, 22 December 2023 Walker talk contribs posted a new comment on DACPi (Hi, we haven't tested this one.)
  • 10:47, 22 December 2023 Walker talk contribs posted a new comment on X728-script (x728 v2.5 just in x728 v2.3 based on the addition of Adds battery charging control via GPIO16, other features are not changed, if your X728 V2.3, can work properly, hit your expected results, it is reasonable to say that the X728 V2.5 can also meet the requirements!)

  • 01:13, 22 December 2023 154.6.90.21 talk posted a new comment on X728-script (I was able to program around the firmware issue by removing the short for the "CHG EN" and adding a function to my python script that started charging when capacity dropped below 97% and stopped charging when capacity was at 100% or greater. Just wondering why I was forced to do that when according to the documentation, I should have been able to do it from the hardware side.)
  • 00:02, 22 December 2023 154.6.90.21 talk posted a new comment on X728-script (I'm attempting to configure an X728 v2.5 to automatically charge the battery and start the Raspberry Pi automatically when power is restored. I have shorted both the "Auto ON" and "CHG EN" and then with the unit powered off, I remove the batteries and then replace them. The result is that everything works as expected the first time power is restored, the Pi starts automatically and the battery is charging. On subsequent attempts, there is an immediate flicker on the Pi but it doesn't actua...)
  • 02:27, 21 December 2023 173.173.26.249 talk posted a new comment on PiKVM-A3 (I could use some help/advice with my PiKVM setup. I've read through the Pinned topics here and PiKVM / GeekWorm Wikis but I could be missing something so please forgive me. Hardware: - GeekWorm KVM-A3 Kit - Raspberry Pi 4B 4GB - HP Pavilion 14-v062us laptop With the laptop off, I connected my PiKVM system (HDMI and OTG USB port) to the target (my laptop) and turned the PI on. Next I turned the laptop on. I'm having two issues: 1.) H.264 / WebRTC - This option doesn't seem to work at all. I...)

Power both the Jetson DC port and the T201 hat DC port with the same DC source and it will power on when power is connected. #!/usr/bin/env python3 import Jetson.GPIO as GPIO import time import os import subprocess # Use board pin numbering GPIO.setmode(GPIO.BOARD) # Pin to monitor for power loss POWER_LOSS_PIN = 7 # Set up the GPIO pin as input GPIO.setup(POWER_LOSS_PIN, GPIO.IN) def...)
  • 02:39, 20 December 2023 69.62.198.249 talk posted a new comment on T201 (is there developer documentation for this device? I need to know how to interface with this device when developing a soft shutdown program on power source disconnect. Pin definitions? Acceptable software and commands? Any program snippets that might help are appreciated.)
  • 10:22, 19 December 2023 Walker talk contribs posted a new comment on T201 (Hi, t201 support is button control power on/off, this Jetson Nano image you mentioned comes with Ubuntu "18.04.6 LTS (Bionic Beaver)", we haven't tested it, if it's possible, you can test it and test it.)
  • 07:52, 19 December 2023 69.62.198.249 talk posted a new comment on T201 (Is there a software shutdown when the power gets disconnected? I want it to also power down the T201 so it is not using up the battery when off. I am seeing software solutions for Raspberry Pi UPS versions but not this one. Jetson Nano image comes with Ubuntu "18.04.6 LTS (Bionic Beaver)". I could maybe run a python program as a systemd service?)
