  • 11:08, 12 July 2023 72.90.255.109 talk posted a new comment on X306 (Hi, I'm also having the same problem with the USB ports, none of them are working. They are powering things, but no data goes through. I have confirmed the pogo pins are making contact, and have tried using a USB hub on the pi alone, without the UPS, and the hub works fine, so there's something wrong with this UPS. Does it need a ferrite ring? Would love to solve this issue! Thanks, Evan)

It seems that gpio pin 4 does not immediately correspond to button presses (edge raising & falling) as it seems to be buffered to facilitate the long press hard shutdown? Is there maybe a schema how the power button, pin 4 and the power led work together?)

I see two options: 1. Stack Raspberry, X715 & X728. - Power in to X715. X715 will power Raspberry directly. - Power cable from X715 to X728. For X728 to charge batteries. 2. Stack Raspberry & X728. • 10:49, 3 July 2023 68.51.90.40 talk posted a new comment on X728-hardware (I just purchased the Mini ATX PSU II - Desktop ATX Power Supply raspberry pi HAT. I currently have the X728 V2.3 on my Pi 4B. How do I stack these units together so I can use ATX power and fallback to the X728 when ATX loses power? I expect maybe needing to do some coding to make them work together software side, but will I be able to use this combination as expected?)
  • 15:37, 1 July 2023 175.116.49.141 talk posted a new comment on X708-Software (x708, x862 (NGFF, WD SA510), two 18650 batteries, and a metal pushbutton switch latching are in use. 1. If this package device is left unused, the battery will be completely discharged. The power switch does not operate when the adapter is connected to the x802 boarder. So when I remove the power cord of the battery holder from the x708 boarder and reconnect it, it charges and works. However, the software does not boot. One of mine started smoking immediately. Pull the batteries and everything seems ok now. Just set it up and don't touch it after. Get your pi setup first and add this last.)

  • 07:27, 20 June 2023 76.79.164.20 talk posted a new comment on 3.5 LCD B (It would be nice to be able to toggle quickly between HDMI and 3.5" screen. As it is, running ./LCD35-show runs a long script requiring download of files, etc. It would be nice if LCD35-show would detect if it had already been run and just quickly reconfigure. But then, it would be nice if a reboot wasn't necessary too.)
