  • 03:50, 17 February 2022 81.5.230.149 talk posted a new comment on X728-hardware (Hello, just got the X728 Board, V2.1 is printed on the side looking to the raspberry when installed. The direction of polarity in battery compartments are facing in the same direction. In the installation manual the batteries are facing in contrary directions, just to be sure and not to destroy anything: the v2.1 wants the polarity of the batteries like its printed: same direction, right? Thanks in advance and regards, Max)

I know I am not the only one wanting to write my own software to interface to the UPS. I am currently developing some software (not related to the DC UP at all) and I would really like to integrate UPS monitoring into this software as it would be very useful indeed. Your documentation states that you use a particular chip for power management, but that's it. Please can you provide details such as which I2C addresses...)

I understand that if the voltage is extremely low then it charges very slowly in order not to destroy the cells. When voltage is above 3V it charges normally. Am I right?)
  • 04:44, 11 February 2022 89.64.87.242 talk posted a new comment on X728 (Hello geekworm! I've been findin X728v2.1 an excellent product! Very usefull and great quality for the price. I forgot to turn off RPi on standby mode and it drained my cells down to 2,97V. The Cell is Samsung INR18650-35E which has a 2.65V of cut-off voltage and therefore you rescued my cells! But when I plugged DC-Jack with 5,01V to X728 it draws only 0,15A current. So It's charging very slow or not at all. One of four battery diodes is blinking.)
