- 05:02, 19 February 2021 165.225.242.199 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X728-Software (I did not see an answer to this question: How do you turn the UPS off after an hour with no power? also, How do you turn on the x728 and boot the PI with power applied to the x728 and then soft-shutdown the PI and then turn off the x728 after the power is removed?)
- 00:39, 19 February 2021 96.224.229.125 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X180 (Can this be used with the X750 board as well? I currently have an X750 and an X708 connected to my RPi 4 for 12 cell 18650 power but would like to add more USB ports.)
- 06:15, 17 February 2021 5.12.53.134 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X728-hardware (Can i power it from a solar panel via DC 5525 Jack in, to act like a solar charger ?)
- 17:58, 16 February 2021 83.81.183.238 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X829 (Okay, my mistake: I had heatsinks on the RPi. I removed the heatsinks and now it will fit.)
- 09:08, 16 February 2021 83.81.183.238 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X829 (I have bought a complete set containing the X829 and the UPS_U100_V12 on AliExpress in stead of the X708. The UPS_U100_V12 however does not fit on the raspberry pi because the spacers delivered with it are too long! Is it compatible anyway?)
- 06:18, 15 February 2021 70.44.166.106 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X765 (Is it possible to use this in conjunction with the X735 power management board to allow use of the momentary power switch?)
- 05:01, 14 February 2021 70.39.111.203 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X400 V3.0 (Also - is there an Amazon link for a power supply that is recommended for this?)
- 05:00, 14 February 2021 70.39.111.203 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X400 V3.0 (I have things all wired up, as far as I can tell, but the Pi does not seem to be getting any power? I've removed the power jumper. The light turns blue on the power button when I press it. The power supply I am using is output 6v, 2amps. Should that work?)
- 05:04, 12 February 2021 97.113.140.29 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X728 (Tired your suggestion, but no success. I even drained both batteries completely and the tried again. Oddly, that worked at first, but once the batteries got charged up to a certain point, the x728 shut down the RPi. I have no idea what's going on, but no one from Geekworm is responding on their dedicated forum. I'm not inclined to purchase any more of their products.)
- 02:38, 12 February 2021 31.18.131.59 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X750 (Please help me on this issue, still not working)
- 22:20, 11 February 2021 88.116.29.118 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X705 (I have got 2 pieces X705 and I am having the same issue with both of them: 1. Start-status: - X705 is correctly connected to my PI3 B+ - External power supply is connected to X705 over Micro USB power input, X705's power LED is ON. - 2 18650 batteries are in X705, X705 is charging them - 1 battery indicator LED is permanently ON, the second one is flashing, the others are OFF. - My PI3 B+ is working normal, after having the external power supply off and on X705 is doing its job, i.e. my PI i...)
- 22:09, 11 February 2021 87.19.206.239 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X728 (I have an issue with the RTC clock and can’t find a solution. I tried to install a brand new OS from the official Raspbian Buster Lite, and did a clean install of the x728.sh script from github. The error code at startup of raspberry is: [ 22.027235] rc.local[621]: hwckock: ioctl(RTC_RD_TIME) to /dev/rtc0 to read the time failed: Invalid argument [FAILED] Failed to start /etc/rc.local Compatibility See ‘systemctl status rc-local.service’ for details. - 21:07, 11 February 2021 71.67.124.118 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X825 (Love the mechanical drawing. There is a very important piece of information missing. Including this would be very much appreciated. The vertical 2 and 4 pin connectors are all from the same family. Please provide manufacturer and family or series number so that we can locate the mating connectors and socket pins. Thank you!)
- 18:12, 10 February 2021 82.6.0.80 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X728-Software (Adding the below to my config turns the x728 off after shutdown dtoverlay=gpio-poweroff,gpiopin=13)
- 17:35, 10 February 2021 82.6.0.80 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X728 (For anyone wondering. setting GPIO 13 as out and high will turn off the x728. Would be really helpful to have that listed here as not everyone can install the soft as lifted in this wiki. I am using it on a pi running android.)
- 01:43, 10 February 2021 82.6.0.80 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X728-Software (How do you turn the UPS off after an hour with no power? I've set up my PI to shutdown after an hour with no power reading GPIO6 but I cant get it to turn the UPS off. This means when I apply power again nothing happens as the UPS or PI never actually shutdown.)
- 01:54, 9 February 2021 177.9.19.148 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on 2.2 LCD (Thank you for this great guide. I managed to make the display work, but I'm still trying to get the buttons to work. After all the installation procedures, when I try to run any of the Python scripts like (rpi-2.2TFT-kbrd.py, for example), I get an error: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/home/pi/Downloads/Python-keys/rpi-2.2TFT-jstk.py", line 26, in <module> import RPi.GPIO as GPIO RuntimeError: This module can only be run on a Raspberry Pi! What is going on?)
- 23:29, 8 February 2021 5.95.134.144 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X728-Software (I need to be able to shutdown the whole rig (RPi4 and x728) from a script. Is that possible?)
- 23:33, 7 February 2021 95.90.215.5 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X728 (had the same problem, the Raspberry starts briefly and switches off again. After trying for a long time, it worked again using the following procedure. 1. Disconnect the X728 from the Raspberry and remove the batteries 2. Put the X728 back on the Raspberry 3. Insert the batteries (Raspberry must not start, it did it for me every now and then, then start all over again) 3. USB-C charger on connect the X728 4. Switch on X728. Since then everything has been working normally again. Hope it h...) Tags: Mobile edit Mobile web edit
- 23:19, 7 February 2021 95.90.215.5 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X728 (I found a solution for everyone who wants to shut down the Raspberry Pi and the X728 via a Python script. - import subprocess - subprocess.call(["sudo", "/usr/local/bin/x728softsd.sh"]) so it should work.)
