  • 19:19, 5 December 2024 104.28.54.66 talk posted a new comment on XScript (I'm switching to the newer XScript. Now, the log file is full of messages about temperature and fan speed messages in a 5 seconds interval. Where can i change that, for example just produce log messages if the temperature changed by 10 degrees?)
  • 18:58, 5 December 2024 Harry talk contribs posted a new comment on NVMe SSD boot with the Raspberry Pi 5 (Generally speaking, re-flashing the OS can solve all problems)
  • 15:29, 5 December 2024 86.103.12.136 talk posted a new comment on X1001 (But this does not happen using SD-card and I already changed the SSD M2 hardware, but the issue is persisting. So what else should cause this issue, as the SSD could not be accessed by the system anymore?)
  • 10:31, 5 December 2024 Lisa talk contribs posted a new comment on X862 V2.0 (Remove the screen and just test RPi4 + X862 with SSD, does it work properly? please send the installation picture and your order number by email. support@geekworm.com)
  • 23:52, 4 December 2024 217.88.244.114 talk posted a new comment on X1001 (Hi, I have a Pi5 with the X1001 and a weird issue. I added dtparam=nvme to config.txt and did a reboot. (By the way in the wiki the 'sudo nano' command below 'Test Reviews' is missing '/firmware') Now the two commands dd if=/dev/zero of=./Testingfile bs=100M count=10 oflag=direct dd if=./Testingfile of=/dev/zero bs=100M count=10 oflag=dsync gave me really slow values. About 10 MB/s I used the imager to get a Pi OS onto the nvme. The flashing was really slow, too. Afterwards booting from th...)
  • 23:22, 4 December 2024 86.247.102.148 talk posted a new comment on X862 V2.0 (Hi Lisa, Thanks for the reply. I'm using the official Raspberry power supply, 5,1V / 3.0 A. The e-paper screen is a waveshare model, using 5V through GPIO but most of the time the power consumption is close to 0. It seems the communication with the screen doesn't happen when the X862 is connected but everything is ok with another USB3 external SSD. No error message in the journal tough. Any idea ?)
  • 10:57, 4 December 2024 Lisa talk contribs posted a new comment on LVDS2 (Hello,Sorry, we haven't tested it + LVDS2 and can't give any recommendations. Because it is the DIY product, so sometimes there may be the compatibility problem. There are so many different screen models that we can't be compatible with all of them.)
  • 10:30, 4 December 2024 Lisa talk contribs posted a new comment on X1001 (Hi,This has nothing to do with x1001, which is just an extension of the RPi5's PCIe.)
  • 04:47, 4 December 2024 91.165.13.235 talk posted a new comment on LVDS2 (Hello, can I use with this screen? LC320DUE-FHA1 Thanks!)
  • 15:00, 3 December 2024 86.103.8.127 talk posted a new comment on X1001 (Using X1001 with Raspberry Pi 5 and Samsung 99P ro. In the beginning I had problems with not accessible system anymore (ping was possible, but no ssh login or web ui) , SSD and X1001 LED were not flashing regularly anymore, indicating the are/could not be accessed anymore. Then I bought a new X1001 and did not have the issue for weeks. But now it happened again, without any change/new software. Could there be any setting changed/adapted, which could help? Are there any logs which could help?...)

  • 15:55, 2 December 2024 Lisa talk contribs posted a new comment on X862 V2.0 (If the X862+Pi4 works normally, it may be due to insufficient power supply. What power supply are you using? It is recommended to use 5V 4A power supply and do not use low-quality power supplies such as those with switches.)
  • 15:40, 2 December 2024 Lisa talk contribs posted a new comment on X1013 (It depends on your power supply.)
  • 05:57, 2 December 2024 195.192.96.124 talk posted a new comment on X728-script (Hello, is there a way to set the X728 V2.3s scripts so that after a power loose the raspberry shuts down safely after a set time? That would be the function i would need the X728 for. Thx)
  • 05:57, 2 December 2024 78.193.210.122 talk posted a new comment on X306 (how would you recommend to connect some lead or pad in the x306 pcb to one pi zero digital input pin to measure whether usb power is up or down?)
  • 05:53, 2 December 2024 78.193.210.122 talk posted a new comment on X306 (How can we check from the software if the usb power supply is down? Even better get level of battery charge? For example to trigger a clean shutdown.)
  • 22:06, 30 November 2024 92.184.106.137 talk posted a new comment on X862 V2.0 (Hi I have the X62 v2 and a e-paper screen connected via GPIO. The screen doesn't work in that configuration but is OK when I connect a simple external SSD drive through USB3. Is it power related ? What can I do to have both devices working ?)

  • 09:59, 29 November 2024 Lisa talk contribs posted a new comment on X1004 (Sorry, we haven't tested it. The height of spacer at the bottom of P580-V2 is M2.5*6mm, and the thickness of SSD + heatsink must be less than 6mm.)
  • 01:14, 29 November 2024 98.96.216.10 talk posted a new comment on X1004 (Using the P580-V2 is there enough room to fit the Lexar 4TB NM790 SSD with Heatsink?)
  • 10:28, 27 November 2024 Lisa talk contribs posted a new comment on X1202 (If you want to use a UPS baord with RPi4, we recommend X728. If you want to use 4cell batteries or more, you can use X728 UPS+X708-A1 battery holder (supports 8cell 18650 batteries, you can also install only 1cell or 2 batteries). X1200/X1201/X1202 only support RPi5.)
  • 05:27, 27 November 2024 86.87.123.160 talk posted a new comment on X1202 (Well, I simply do use it in combination with an RPI4. SURE, BE WARNED that you can place only an RPI5 _ON_ the X1202; the pogo pins (except the ones of the GPIO header) are ONLY aligned for test pads of the RPI5! As far as I know, the X1202 is the only one where you have access (through I2C) to the battery voltage level; the mentioned X-UPS1 doesn't. AND even with an RPI 5, you MUST use an external device (in my case the RPI4) to monitor the battery level, as the X1202 itself doesn't (auto) s...)

Unfortunately, i am still not able to run the nvme using Umbrel OS. Even an update to the latest boot loader version was not helping. Using a USB-C to NVME Adapter the nvme SSD is running smoothly. I am typing this comment on my RPI5 8GB with the X1203 while plugged into a 12 volt outlet (13.8 volts).
