  • 00:26, 18 April 2022 50.35.78.224 talk posted a new comment on X857 (Hi Lisa, Yes, using GPIO to power Pi4 and USB 3.0 for the SSD. Still no luck. All works when running completely from battery. But external PSU into the UPS HAT and charging is happening, then the SSD will randomly disconnect, and I lose data on the SSD. Cause me to have to reflash. Still unable to get this to work, tried all power connectivity options from the UPS board to the SSD, either via a direct link or via the USB 3.0. Problem is the same. Thanks)

In the package I've received the UPS 3 and a small plastic bag with two PH 2.0 2-PIN cables and two very small radiators(these are not for raspberryPI as they are very small and it's almost the size of the microchips on the ups 3 hat) Besides that I have one more question. Sometimes the board makes some coil whining noise, is this normal?)

Problem: The SSD disconnects randomly intermittently. I can use either on their own and things work. I've also purchased a 5V/6A external support for the UPS board as this seem to me to be a power problem. Any advice please?)
