- 13:39, 29 March 2022 77.248.75.29 talk posted a new comment on P173 (After two days of 53°C It now runs at 46°C, I have no idea why it cooled. The load is still 1. but it's good to see that the P173 cools the same as a heatsink and fan.)
- 02:05, 29 March 2022 37.248.176.74 talk posted a new comment on X708-Software (Lisa, I know it's for power management. The x708softsd.sh script uses GPIO13 to perform a software shutdown. The question is: how? Does it just turn off the power on the board or does it somehow emulate the pressing of the button (GPIO5) and the proper shutdown is then performed by the x708pwr.sh script?)
- 17:03, 28 March 2022 Lisa talk contribs posted a new comment on X857 (Hello, How did you install it? X728 UPS powers Pi4 via GPIO, Pi4 powers X857 through USB3.0 connector, no need to connect the x728 to the SSD.)
- 16:47, 28 March 2022 Lisa talk contribs posted a new comment on X708-Software (Hi, GPIO13 for power management;please referX708-Hardware)
- 01:08, 27 March 2022 50.35.78.224 talk posted a new comment on X857 (I am unable to get the X857 to work with the X728, I've tried wiring the 5V out of the UPS board to the 5V in on the SSD. Problem: The SSD disconnects randomly intermittently. I can use either on their own and things work. I've also purchased a 5V/6A external support for the UPS board as this seem to me to be a power problem. Any advice please?)
- 16:12, 26 March 2022 77.248.75.29 talk posted a new comment on P173 (First off: i have no rights to register? I had a heatsink and a fan. Running on 5V it had a temperature of about 47 °C. At 3.3V is was 53°C. Afters installing the P173 rhe temperature of the (quite busy) server was 52°C. Nice!) Tags: Mobile web edit, Mobile edit

- 23:56, 23 March 2022 213.5.5.79 talk posted a new comment on X880 (NAS disks do not like being turned on and off. This works to the detriment of NAS disks and significantly shortens the performance. NAS drives are designed to work 24/7. I found a solution to this problem - it should be added to CRON * / 4 * * * * root hdparm -C / dev / sdX There was no information about it when buying - in this case, I would not buy the X880)

- 15:56, 19 March 2022 1.157.113.202 talk posted a new comment on X728 (OP here, the reason I am asking is that I tried to supply power to this hat through the port from a LM2968 buck convertor but the converter belw up. If I can't supply power in to the 5v XH2.54 connector, I will have to wire it in to the barrel jack (or maybe using dupont connectors straight on to the GPIO pins??????))
- 13:21, 19 March 2022 31.208.117.48 talk posted a new comment on X708-Hardware (Hi! I can't find any script on how to set the fan speed to high/low: "GPIO16 for fan speed: HIGH => fast, LOW=> slow" "New added on V1.2". I don't know if it is running high or low now, but the case fan sounds as an airplane that is about to take off from my desktop. This is unacceptable. There must be a way to turn it off when not needed and only turn it on at very high temperatures. If there is a high and low settings too i really want to know how to change it between these two mode.)
