Please advise on how to do this when other boards and graphics drivers are used, otherwise, this isn't a fair "solution" to provide to people saying "Just do this thing you can't do without reprogramming your LCD drivers".)

Using the middle pins works, but using the top male pins only turns on the backlight. I would like to make it fully work using the top male pins. Would you know the solution?)
