Overview

C296 is a 10mm thickness aluminum alloy heatsink special designed for raspberry pi zero 2 w, it is also compatible with raspberry pi zero w by using thermal pads of different thicknesses (1-1.3mm is ok, better to use 1.3mm).

This radiator adopts a U-shaped groove design to increase the contact area with air, thereby speed up heat dissipation of raspberry pi zero 2 w. And embedded installation design allows user for better DIY extension.

C296 also compatible to use with M200 and its matching aluminum case.

The Heatsink feet are 0.090" off the surface of the heatsink. the Pi Zero 2017 has CPU about 0.050 and the copper pad was 0.030 think.. so a film of Heatsink compound of 0.005 per side will do it. THe Bluetooth was super tiny, and only 0.010 off the board. so i doubled up the thicker heat sink compound and let it rip. if it overheats, I'll slip in some copper strip between.

Was thermal paste also used between the cpu and the copper plate or only between the copper plate and the heat sink? Do you have data on the differences between the use of the copper plate and the thermal pad?

Hello, thermal paste is only used between the copper sheet and the heatsink, relatively speaking, the heat dissipation effect of using copper sheet is better than the use of thermal money

I am curious if this heatsink would work with the orangepi Zero 2W?

Please provide more details on what's needed to use this with the Zero W. What thickness pads are required?

Hello, we only tested the relevant data of C296 and raspberry pi zero 2 w. We have not tested the thickness pads used by raspberry pi zero w. Currently, we only have data related to raspberry pi zero 2 w
