Installation Guide

Installation Tips for C519 & X1500/X1501:

Since both the C519 heatsink and PCB holes are threaded, proper alignment and minimal spacing are crucial during assembly. Carefully align the C519 with the PCB mounting holes, press down firmly until the heatsink touches the PCB, then tighten the screws.

FAQ

Q1:Does the C519 heatsink fit all CM5 IO boards, including third-party ones like the Waveshare CM5 POE IO Board/CM5-IO-BASE-A?

A: The C519 heatsink fits the official Raspberry Pi CM5 IO board without issues. However, compatibility with third-party IO boards may vary. For example, on the Waveshare CM5 POE IO Board, the heatsink may interfere with the POE circuit's square inductor. In such cases, slight modification (e.g., trimming a small notch with a Dremel) might be needed to achieve proper fitment. Also not support Waveshare CM5-IO-BASE-A. Please check the layout of your IO board and C519 size before installation.
