Initially had many issues like anonymous user #2: - Wifi won't connect - I/O power controller down and device disabled Apparently, the issue was the default FPC cable was creating magnetic interference with the Wifi radio and vice versa. One user in pi forums suggested using aluminiumfoil to cover the cable and it works(Wifi no issues, 1TB written without any error logs).
