00:09 47.158.215.169 talk posted a new comment on X1001 (I can confirm updating the firmware seems to work on the pi5. Have a WD black SN770. Worked with USB, didn't work with the NVMe hat. Originally would boot very slow, and couldn't reliably launch a terminal, or a web browser at all. System would freeze or go to gray screen/black screen. Booted with the drive in a USB enclosure and went to raspi-config and loaded new bootloader/firmware through the advanced options, reinstalled the drive into the hat and now boots fine, fast, and can lau...) |

12:47 112.220.71.122 talk posted a new comment on X1001 (My raspberry PI 5 server has - raspberry PI 5 4 GB - 25W power supply ( 5V 5A ) - Geekworm X1001 PICe HAT - SD Card 64GB - OS: Bookworm 64Bit My PI5 system halts within 3-4 hours from system boot. I tried to mount the SSD (1GB, Samsung Electronics) and booted from SSD successfully without SDCard. But with or without SSD, the system halts after 3~4 hours. When I disconnected X1001 HAT and the PI board( plug off the PICe ribbon cable from X1001 HAT), the system does not freeze for severa...) |

14:37 | Comments log 172.114.135.75 talk posted a new comment on X1202 (I noticed that the x1202 always said "AC Power OK" even with power plug disconnected. As the pld.py code ran I could press down on the Pi board and the x1202 would say "AC Power Loss". When I let up it would go back to "AC Power OK". Seems like a pogo is not making good contact. Any suggestions?) |

Fan now is quiet and PWM is doing its thing. I followed the steps here, but I used <code> pip3 install --break-system-packages rpi-lgpio </code> for installinh the GPIO library. To check if the services are working I used <code> systemctl status x735-fan </code> and <code> systemctl status x735-pwr </code> For troubleshooting it helps to check...) | ||||

04:17 | Comments log 216.24.212.37 talk posted a new comment on X1201 (X1201 V1.1 current behavior: On applying power starts charging and starts Pi5 via attached USB-C. When fully charged stops charging, quits using UBS-C power and uses power from the battery. When battery are depleted, shuts off everything. Also when you remove USB-C power, it does not transition to battery is shuts off everything. There is no software installed in crons or anything. This is not a seamless UPS. Is there a jumper of GPIO setting that I don't have set?) |

07:17 | Comments log 82.58.137.153 talk posted a new comment on XScript (Hi, I followed this guide and now xoff works like a charm, many thanks. On the other hand, even if I am able to run and control my fan, even at low speeds it's very loud. I tried changing some values in the x-c1-fan.sh script and the fan responded but it never got "silent" like it used to be. I remember it being very silent, especially at low speeds. What can i do? is there something i missed to try? I'm kinda a newbie when it comes to hardware, and the Naspi was not touched since i built i...) |
