09:57 24.170.98.57 talk posted a new comment on X1001(Using x1011 with samsung evo 990 2tb LSPCI no indication of phison controller; system works fine until accessing(reading) large file or running dd if=./TestingFile of=/dev/zero bs=100M count=10 oflag=dsync a couple of times... pciegen 3 is disabled by raspi-boot and on /firmware/boot.txt only have dtparam=pciex1 So far every reduced disk access works fine but again streaming a large file or performing dd will eventually freeze machine, please explaing what i should be looking for in lo...)

But this was not my question. I wanted to know if a powered off Raspberry Pi will unintentionally get powered by a connected device with some voltage on the connctor pin (e.g. if the device itself is connected to a USB-Port and therefore has +5V on the pin).)
