On X735 v3.0 is the Type-C DC 5V connector for input power or output power? If output power, how much current can it source?

Hi, it's for input power; X735 support 4 kinds of power supply: ①DC5525 port: Can provide up to 4A power supply capability. ②Type C power port: specially designed for Raspberry Pi 4 Model B ③Micro USB; Compatible with your original mirco usb power adapter ④XH2.54 2Pin Cable: This is a flexible power supply

Please can you identify the function of the three power management GPIO pins so I can relate them to the Ubuntu 22.04 hmon pwer management functions.

Hello, you can take a look at our WIKI:X735 Software for Ubuntu Server, which has an introduction

Hello I have a question about the fan.

I have x825 v2.0 + x 735 v2.5 + c8 case + rpi 4 model b 4gb.

I upgraded to a new 3rd party OS and the old script does not work (ronin dojo).

I'm told there is some physical change I can do to the wires to let the fan run automatically when I press the power button to turn the unit on? I would like the fan to run as long as the unit is on.

Just a note that I used the geekworm youtube video to do the set up so its the exact same set up I followed as the video.

I am using the US power plug in and the switch is plugged into the momentary switch plug.

Hello, reinstall the script to test it out. Or unplug the yellow and blue wires of the fan, the fan will not be controlled by the script. But the PWM function will be lost.

Thanks Lisa, will unplug the two wires and hopefully that will work. the script i reinstalled 5 times. but i hit linux errors after upgrade.

other users told me to unplug wires too. I rather have fan at full speed than having no fan.. pwm ideal but don't want overheat. thank you

I have the 2.5 version and wonder what can explain that when the USB C power is applied, the fan starts immediately, regardless of whether the momentary switch is installed. Is this standard? From reading the test, it should power on ONLY when pushing the momentary switch or the blue on-board switch, correct? By the way, the x857-C3 momentary switch light does not turn on when it's connected. Any ideas?

If X735+Raspberry Pi is used together, the fan will spin after the script runs.

Hi. I want to use it with a 12V battery and a ignition contact. 3 wires: 12V, GND, and ignition (signal). when the ignition is on (12V), I want to start the raspberry. The ignition will remain on (12V). When the ignition is off (0V), I want to safe shut down the rasberry. Can this be done with your X735 board?

thanks

IIs it possible to find more information about that power management pins. I need to use both SPI interface and on SPI-2 that pin 38 is using as MOSI. If I will cat connection that pin#38(GPIO20) between RaspPI and X735 - what happens with that power scheme ?

Hello,

pin#38(GPIO20) for power management.please refer to [Pins and GPIO used] above.

X735 cannot share PIN with other devices, otherwise power management will not work properly.

Thank you so much. It's a shame that only the X 735 has a 4 pin PWM fan.

Hello, you can use X708 UPS board; But X735 and X708 cannot be used together.

please refer X857 board + X708 UPS board + X857-C3 (if you want a case).
