  • 17:09, 12 November 2023 37.66.215.229 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X882 (Hello, just to keep you updated: I was able to find another product to plug my SSDs in RAID. It works fine. The disks are really close together, but the box have its own power supply. So I guess my problem was power supply and not FEM.)
  • 10:08, 11 October 2023 Walker talk contribs performed unknown action "comments/add" on X882 (Hello, if you still have this problem after testing the HDD, please contact us in time and we will handle it for you and solve the problem.)
  • 19:40, 10 October 2023 195.220.58.237 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X882 (Hello, My order was n°TB-22-7566 I didn't try HDDs yet, i need to borrow some to try.)
  • 16:54, 9 October 2023 Walker talk contribs performed unknown action "comments/add" on X882 (Hello, have you tried HDD? The problem you mentioned may also be caused by SSD EMC interference is relatively large, not necessarily caused by the power supply. By the way, can you provide your order number?)
  • 17:54, 6 October 2023 195.220.58.237 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X882 (Yes, I understand that you cannot input 5V on the 2.0 board, that was not my question. You are basically telling me that after buying a 50$ V1.3 board that is not working as intended (plus a power supply, shipping and taxes), I should either buy new HDDs or a new 2.0 board. I'm not really thrilled by this idea, and my goal was to know if there was a way to modify the 1.3 board to help solve the issue (I have access to some equipment and could for exemple build a power supply). I understand...)
  • 12:02, 6 October 2023 Walker talk contribs performed unknown action "comments/add" on X882 (1. First of all, x882 v2.0 cannot use 5V input, because dual hard drives usually require relatively large voltages, and 5V will cause insufficient power supply. 2. your mean by ‘replicate’ may not be able to solve this problem. This is more complicated. We have reported the problem you previously reported to the manufacturer. In addition to the problem you mentioned may be caused by insufficient power supply of the V1.3 version (when transferring large files), there is another possibility t...)
  • 20:32, 5 October 2023 195.220.58.237 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X882 (Thank you for your answer. You may understand that i'm not really keen to buy another board, and the 1.3 is not usable as it is whith this power input problem. On the 2.0, there seems to be components around the DC input that may be used to regulate the power from the 6-18V jack to the components requirements. I may be able to "replicate" this part of the board, but for this what would be the output specifications? Are the SSD still powered with 5V on within the 2.0 board?)
  • 17:09, 5 October 2023 Walker talk contribs performed unknown action "comments/add" on X882 (Hello, the problem you are talking about may be caused by the power supply, because dual hard drives have relatively high power requirements. The initial version 1.3 used a 5V 4A power input. Later we upgraded to version 2.0, which used a 12V 5A power input. Power supply, the current version 2.0 has solved the problem of insufficient power supply (tip: version 1.3 cannot be directly connected to 12V, because it will burn the board))
  • 16:52, 5 October 2023 Walker talk contribs performed unknown action "comments/add" on X882 (Hello, after the Raspberry Pi 5 is released, we will also upgrade the product. Please follow us. If you have good suggestions, we are also willing to listen.)
  • 20:49, 4 October 2023 185.128.30.33 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X882 (Do you think you will bring out an "Raspberry Pi 5" upgrade kit? Or do I have to buy a new gemini built for Pi5?)
  • 23:53, 1 October 2023 37.66.215.229 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X882 (Some precision: when I said "SSD are disconnecting": the Pi works well, and i got a message on raspbian specifying that the disks unmounted. when I reboot the pi, the drives are mounted back.)
  • 23:43, 1 October 2023 37.66.215.229 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X882 (Hello, I've got the version 1.3. I tried several settings but always got troubles when i try to upload a large amount of files: the SSD are disconnecting. When i tried using seafile, this issue corrupted the database and i lost all the data. Now i'm only using Samba and at least the issue only stop the current upload and don't destroy previous data. My question is: may it be related to the DC 5V power supply? I'm using a 5V10A supply, but maybe something is limited on the board? How could...)

  • 15:08, 19 May 2023 Walker talk contribs performed unknown action "comments/add" on X882 (Hello, I probably understand what you mean, may I ask if it cannot be turned on or the system cannot be started?)

  • 16:29, 11 May 2023 91.2.72.13 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X882 (Hi... Did anyone try to boot a Pi from SSD / HDD with this x882 board with just ONE drive attached? In this case my Pi do just NOTHING only if i attach a second drive to the board (no matter if there is something saved on the drive or not - just the hardware) the Pi will boot properly. Can please anyone try this & give a report?)
