If you power loss happens to RPI without scripts the power to RPI will remain until the butteries are completely discharged or RPI breaks because of repeating reboot on low input voltage. Ideally they would charge to ~3.9-4V while retaining the option of charging to 4.2V Can you set PSU_MAX_CURRENT=3000 instead of 5000 to draw less Amps from power supply while charging?
