22:58 188.27.32.164 talk posted a new comment on X1001(Hello, I have purchased two of the X1001s, one for a 4GB Pi5 and one for an 8GB Pi5. After editing the config.txt file on both Pis, both X1001s work OK on the 4GB Pi5, but none of the X1001s work on the 8GB Pi5. 17:15 94.138.76.69 talk posted a new comment on X301(If you FAT32 format an SD card and put the bootcode.bin file from PiOS on it, you are able to boot from the X301 attached hdd/ssd. There is also an anclosure available to 3D print on the Printables website.)

16:27 94.138.76.69 talk posted a new comment on X301(The Pi Zero 2 W DOES support boot from USB out of the box. I have tried both a USB thumbdrive and an SSD through a USB SATA adapter on an OTG-to -USB cable. All work fine. But for some reason the X301, which is essentially an OTG adapter, does not allow booting from the HDD/SSD attached. Big disappointment.)
