22:58 188.27.32.164 talk posted a new comment on X1001(Hello, I have purchased two of the X1001s, one for a 4GB Pi5 and one for an 8GB Pi5. After editing the config.txt file on both Pis, both X1001s work OK on the 4GB Pi5, but none of the X1001s work on the 8GB Pi5. Tried both powering the addon boards through the extra power connector, both with and without an SSD that otherwise has been tested to work OK. Tried all combinations of SSD, X1001, pcie cable, extra-power cord; in all combinations the 4GB Pi5 works, the 8GB Pi5 does not work. Even th...)

21:42 84.157.71.126 talk posted a new comment on X-C1 Software(For anyone for whom the install.sh breaks the boot sequence with an infinite loop of error messages (complaining that the file or directory wasn't found for /sys/class/gpio/gpio17/ or something): 1. Replace the first echo block with: ``` echo '#!/bin/bash SHUTDOWN=4 REBOOTPULSEMINIMUM=200 REBOOTPULSEMAXIMUM=600 #echo "$SHUTDOWN" > /sys/class/gpio/export #echo "in" > /sys/class/gpio/gpio$SHUTDOWN/direction BOOT=17 #echo "$BOOT" > /sys/class/gpio/export #echo...)

17:15 94.138.76.69 talk posted a new comment on X301(If you FAT32 format an SD card and put the bootcode.bin file from PiOS on it, you are able to boot from the X301 attached hdd/ssd. There is also an anclosure available to 3D print on the Printables website.)

16:27 94.138.76.69 talk posted a new comment on X301(The Pi Zero 2 W DOES support boot from USB out of the box. I have tried both a USB thumbdrive and an SSD through a USB SATA adapter on an OTG-to -USB cable. All work fine. But for some reason the X301, which is essentially an OTG adapter, does not allow booting from the HDD/SSD attached. Big disappointment.)

11:51 172.103.144.22 talk posted a new comment on NASPi 3.5(While using RAID1 if one of the drives were to fail, how could I know?)
