FAQ

1.Can you use the RCA's as inputs?

Yes, you can try to use the RCA as input in theory. but pls put the DAC (PCM5122) in "mute" mode. (But we do not suggest you use the RCA as input, if so, the DAC will be no output.)

2.Does this X400 V3.0 have analog input?

No, when you use X400 v3.0 with Raspberry Pi , there is no analog input, but if you do not use Raspberry Pi, the RCA port can be used as analog input.

3.If you connect a power switch to the board's connector should it be a momentary or latching switch? also, does it shut down the pi or just the dac?

The X400 v3.0 board use the latching switch, the latching switch shut down both the Pi and DAC.

Hello, volumio is not running new versions. Is there a link to get volumio os 2.44 from you. Volumio is not as helpful as it used to be. Now it supports the companies it cooperates with. So we're stuck with the x400. I need your help.

Yes, volumio is getting closed;

Please try to download the v2.8.82 from the above link.

URL:https://pan....BAw?pwd=0rpj

Extract code:0rpj

(PS: The link above is only reserved for 365 days)

BTW, you could try the IQaudio DAC+ or IQaudio DAC options on the VILUMIO 3, they actually use the same decoder chip as the X400!

Merhaba, volumio yeni versiyonları çalıştırmıyor. Volumio os 2.44 sizden temin edebileceğimiz link var mı. Volumio eskisi gibi yardımcı değil. Artık işbirliği yaptığı firmaları desteklemektedir. O yüzden x400 ile ortada kaldık. Yardımınız gerek...

I noticed that when I plug in a headset or headphone into the audio jack, I hear sound on both my headphone and the speakers. Is there any option to mute the speakers automatically when headphones are plugged in ?

Hello Lisa,

> please refer X400 V3.0; Jumper setting --AMP: Short--60W amplifier in > shutdown mode; Open--60W amplifier in working mode

I know I can disable the speakers manually by jumpers, but I was asking for speaker auto-mute when plugging in a headphone, is this possible ? Like most other devices do (i.e. smartphones).

Thanks!

you can use any kind of wifi remote control to interact with the application running on raspberry to control your music, even a smartphone will be good for that.

I am unable to get sound from the Speaker terminals. I followed the setup instructions. The amp is getting power (it gets plenty warm) and it works via the headphone jack, but with two 4 ohm 20 W speakers hooked to the Speaker terminals there is no sound from either.

I just received my X400 board, but the power adapter I planned to use with it is too large.

What is the correct connector for making a 12 volt connection to the X400? Do I understand correctly that the 12 volt connection will power the entire system?

Stalled without power. Please let me know the correct connector for the 12 volt system.

Thank you,

Steve

So, given that I want to use this unit to drive a pair of speakers, I understand that I want to use the jumpers to turn-off the headphone and RCA jack systems. Is that correct?
