00:02 Comments log 85.60.35.153 talk posted a new comment on X1003(I tried with integral m2 NVMe gen3 x4 2230 and it does not work, but I do not know why. When the x1003 has the m2 connected no led is turned on. Only after I connect the PSU it blink a led from the m2 (not the x1003). If I disconnect the m2 and connect the PSU I can see 2 blue leds of the board. Then what is happening here? no led from the board means no power? I can't get the m2 recognized in the rpi5. Is the board fault? is the ssd? I need help with this.)

13:05 223.233.83.87 talk posted a new comment on P580(Right, that seems logical. I just hope there is enough clearance between my ssd and the Pi. I have ordered a box of m2.5 standoffs and some m2.5*4+6, lets see how it works out. I also figured that if you flip the Pimoroni base over, you can mount it as a hat with the right standoffs. Then you can use the Geekworm P579 case as well. That might be a better option to keep all the parts cool, as the NVMe won't be squeezed up close to the Pi5 board. Thanks for your help Lisa.)

05:28 Comments log 77.10.106.69 talk posted a new comment on NVMe SSD boot with the Raspberry Pi 5(The WD Green SN580 works like a charm with the latest rpi-eeprom-update. Used the rpi-clone fork from Jeff Geerling to copy a fresh Bookworm install onto the SSD. 740 MB/s write and 780 MB/s read for a 1GB file in 10 blocks of 100MB each. With PCIe3 enabled tho)

18:35 Comments log Lisa talk contribs posted a new comment on P580(It is recommended to replace the pimoroni spacers with M2.5*6mm (included in the P580 packing list); and you need to prepare 4pcs M2.5*4+4 or M2.5*4+5 spacers to fix the bottom.)
