One of the features is "Measure both output voltage and current draw over I2C with high precision".

Could you provide sample?

any problems with using it on a raspberry pi 5?

I would like to know this too.

Having a large range input would be useful and none of the official RPi 5 ones can cater for that.

Hi,X729 is not compatible with Pi5. Please refer to X1200/X1201/X1202 UPS for Pi5.

I like the fact that the X729 combines 18650 holder and fan in this flat package that is compattible with both Pi3 and Pi4.

But is there a planned model/revision that has USB-C 5V input similar to the X708/x735?

Hello, at present, X729 still uses 6-24 power adapter with DC5521 jack, if there is a plan to use USB-C 5V input in the future, we will update the information in time

I have addition HATs to install (DAC)

Should I do RPi, X729, DAC or should I do RPi, DAC, then X729

Hello, we don't know your DAC type very well, we can't determine the installation sequence, and you need to pay attention to the Pins and GPIO used in X729-hardware (https://wiki...729-hardware), you need to determine your Whether the connection between DAC and X729 GPIO is supported

Do you recommend a 6V power supply?

Can I use with the X708-A1 battery holder?

Lisa

Yes, it supports X708-A1 battery holder via(BAT: XH2.54 Port to External Battery). But please pay attention to the correct wiring method, if it is reversed, it will burn the X729.

NOTE:lthe 2pin red and black wire of X708-A1/X728-A2 is wrong in polarity with X729 BAT XH2.54 port.
