What does "NOT supports software safe shutdown" exactly mean? How do I shut down the raspberry then?

Is it only possible with the blue button? Oder can I use "sudo shutdown now" command via shell?

NOT supports software safe shutdown means that the function of safe shutdown cannot be realized by inputting commands or other operations.

At present, the shutdown function can be realized through the blue button on the X703

Definitely heed the warnings about using the USB-C input on the PI or changing headers while plugged in or having batteries in it.

One of mine started smoking immediately. Pull the batteries and everything seems ok now. Just set it up and don't touch it after. Get your pi setup first and add this last.

The X703 requires add. space for the Raspi 4.

Is there any recommendation from your side regarding a good fitting case?

Hi,

Please use high quality 18650 battery such as Panasonic. And note the battery size(Please choose a flat-top battery, and the battery with a raised positive electrode is larger in size.)

If mains power from charging adapter disappears, for example because of a power outage, will X703 take over powering the Raspberry PI without shutdown/reboot?

That's what the UPS expansion board does, but only if the 18650 battery is available.
