I am experiencing a reproducible boot issue with the following setup: Raspberry Pi 5 (8GB), Geekworm X729 UPS HAT, and Geekworm X1005 NVMe HAT. The system boots exclusively from NVMe, without an SD card. When the Raspberry Pi 5 is powered via the X729, either in battery mode or using an external 5V power supply (including a high-current supply up to 17A), the fan starts and the X729 LEDs turn on, but the Raspberry Pi shows only a solid red LED and does not boot. Occasionally, the blue LEDs on the X1005 flash very briefly at power-on and then turn off. There is no video output and no visible EEPROM or OS boot activity. When the same Raspberry Pi 5 and X1005 NVMe setup is powered directly via the USB-C port on the Pi, the system boots reliably from the NVMe, which indicates that the NVMe drive, the X1005, and the NVMe boot configuration are working as expected. The issue appears only when the Raspberry Pi 5 is powered through the X729 and may be related to power delivery or power-up timing when an NVMe (PCIe) device is present. I recently purchased one of the last X729 units available on your website (order TB-16249). As the X729 is described as compatible with the Raspberry Pi 5, I would like to ask whether this configuration is officially supported for NVMe boot and whether a solution or recommended workaround for this behavior is known.
