Sorry, I could have been clearer. My main question is: What characteristics should I evaluate to determine if some battery will work with this device? Is the list I provided a complete list?

I think this is a bit misleading -- almost all 3.7V LiPo batteries I see for sale have integrated protection circuitry, which would violate the listed requirements for the x1203. _Some_ 3.V liPo batteries are likely acceptable, but it looks to me that most are not. Am I misunderstanding the documentation? Is protection circuitry actually ok?
