Hello! I am trying to connect my laptop, which outputs natively to a 1920x1080 60Hz LCD, to a separate screen that has 1280x800 resolution @ 60Hz. I have not bought this part to test yet, but will this work? If not, is there another solution that you could direct me to from your company? Also, is there a potential solder connection point for the unused LCD backlight 19.5V power, as HDMI is natively only 5V?
