Important information missing as well: The power switch simply cut the power to the whole system. there is no proper shutdown of the raspberry, it is like removing the plug. To turn off the raspberry in a clean way when pressing the button, I made a small circuitry with a relay that latches the poser supply and sends a power interrupt to the pi to turn it off when the button is pressed. The relay opens the power to the board once the rpi has shut. There are some out-of-the-box shields on internet with that purpose but I didn't check if they were compatible with the X400.
