The 2.5mm thick thermal pad was too thick to fit in position A _ the 1mm pad fitted fine and was in contact with the chip and the case.

Hello, the 2.5 mm thick thermal pad will be very soft after tearing off the surface film, you can squeeze it, it will be in contact with the shell, and then the heat dissipation effect will be better
