==Overview==
The '''X15-POE1 ''' is a dedicated Power over Ethernet (PoE) Headadd-At-Board on board (HAT) specifically designed for the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 (CM5), requiring use when used with either the '''[[X1500 ]]''' or '''[[X1501 ]] '''IO base boardsBoards. Compliant with the IEEE 802.3af/at (PoE+) standardstandards, this board HAT can draw receive up to 25.5W 25W of power from a compatible PoE network switch via . It delivers both reliable operating power and network connectivity to the CM5 through a single Cat5e/Cat6 Ethernet cable, simultaneously providing stable operational power and network connectivity for the CM5.
Featuring an advanced dual-output design, the board supplies 5V power to the CM5 while providing an independent 12V output. This output can drive peripherals such as fans, displays, or motors. This design eliminates reliance on the need for an additional external power suppliessupply, simplifies simplifying system integration, and reduces cable reducing clutter.
==Features==
* ''' Standard Compliance''': IEEE 802.3af & 802.3at (PoE+)
* '''Input Voltage Range''': 37–57V 36–57V DC
* '''Device Classification''': Class 4
* '''Dual Output Power Rails''':
5V Output: Maximum current DC / 5A (provided 25W max) delivered via the 40-pin GPIO connector)header.
12V Output: Maximum current DC /2.1A (provided 25W max) delivered via a dedicated 2-pin XH2.54 connector).
Note:Total Output Power: Maximum 25W maximum combined output is 25w (5V and 12V outputs cannot simultaneously achieve maximum currentsubject to input power limits).
* Fully Isolated Power Supply: Utilises isolated Switching Mode Power Supply (SMPS) topology for safety and reliability
