The power button works fine, and the fan was spinning—though I didn't pay much attention to its speed—until it finally failed last week. I replaced the fan, but upon closer inspection, the new one seems to be stuck running at full speed. I tried reinstalling and even modifying the control script, but it didn't solve the issue. I'm currently running Debian 12.")

I was able to get XScript installed but like others I am having issues with the functionality. Safe shut down does work for me however the fan does not. With the jumper on FAN FS the fan does not run. As soon as I pull the jumper off the fan runs full speed. Also, the USB controller does not show up using the lsusb or dmesg commands. Geekworm controlled the fan by PWM, but has a yellow wire. The yellow wire is used for tachometer/RPM control.
