- 15:16, 28 April 2026 Ruby talk contribs performed unknown action "comments/add" on X1202 (In theory, it is supported. The DC Jack input of X1202 is 6–18V, with a required current ≥ 2A/3A. It works fine if your solar panel meets these specifications. However, direct solar connection is not recommended. Solar voltage fluctuates greatly, which will lead to unstable power supply, which is not good for the device.)

- 02:04, 27 March 2026 77.16.33.187 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X1202 (Hi, you can find an open-source kernel driver for the X120x UPS HAT series on GitHub — search for "x120x-dkms". It integrates the X120x with Linux as a standard power supply — battery icon in the taskbar, percentage, charge rate, and full UPower integration, just like a laptop battery. Battery conservation mode and undervoltage protection shutdown are built in — no hardware modifications or custom scripts needed. See README.md in the repo for a getting started guide and full details on feat...)

- 05:29, 7 November 2025 90.45.207.96 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X1202 (Is this possible to use both the 18Vdc input *and* the USB-c 5V input at the same time, to maximize the available power to the Pi, possibly limiting the "undervoltage" messages that can happen from time to time on the Pi5? I believe there is a note about that on the doc, but it's not extremely clear whether it means that both inputs can be used simultaneously, or that the very existence of the several inputs are here to help maximize the power options available to the user (but saying nothin...)
- 17:33, 3 November 2025 Ruby talk contribs performed unknown action "comments/add" on X1202 (Hello! The center pin of the DC 5521 jack is positive (+).)

It seems that most of the time the center pin is the positive (+) one, but this is not always the case, and I'd like to have the confirmation to avoid risking burning my board!)

Is there anything specific I need to think about when using the X1202 to power an RPI 5 that has a Pi camera module v3 attached to it? I've added PSU_MAX_CURRENT=5000 already, anything else I need to configure to ensure it runs smoothly?)
- 17:26, 19 August 2025 Lisa talk contribs performed unknown action "comments/add" on X1202 (Hi, X1202 does not have 3.3V voltage. You need to take power from the battery and reduce it to 3.3V through LDO before you can power the RTC.)
- 17:29, 16 August 2025 206.83.113.37 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X1202 (Given the Pi5 just needs 3.3V + GND, what are the chances of supplying an RTC power feed, directly from the UPS board?)

- 18:26, 30 July 2025 88.202.249.32 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X1202 (I have resolved the issue! It was a software problem, and not a hardware problem. Your product is working fine! I was using a modified version of the suptronics software which was incorrectly monitoring the power while plugged in.)

- 23:12, 6 July 2025 88.202.249.32 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X1202 (I am using the X1202, with 4 batteries installed, and plugged in a good 5V 5A power supply. Under a moderate load, after 30 seconds the RPI shuts down. I have therefore tested it WITHOUT batteries, and the RPI shuts down after a few seconds while booting! Is this normal behaviour? Should not the X1202 be able to run WITHOUT batteries? The power supply is good: when plugged into the RPI directly it works fine.)
- 14:24, 20 May 2025 Lisa talk contribs performed unknown action "comments/add" on X1202 (Hello friend, Yes, the metal case will affect the Wi-Fi. It is recommended that you use an Ethernet cable.)
- 17:04, 19 May 2025 1.47.147.219 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X1202 (I recently purchased the X1202-C1 metal case for my Raspberry Pi 5. When the Pi is outside the case, I can SSH into it without any issues. However, once I place the Pi inside the metal enclosure (even without screwing it in), I am unable to establish an SSH connection. Could the metal case be interfering with the Wi-Fi signal or network connectivity? Is this a known issue, or is there a recommended solution or workaround to avoid this problem?)
- 07:56, 9 May 2025 128.78.205.175 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X1202 (Hello, I am facing the same issue. Note that the undervoltage i am getting happens for 2 seconds and normalizes after/ is it similar at your end? Can you please share the code used for Input Voltage? From my end, I had configured a service to run and log the output of "top" command when undervoltage happens (I am monitoring dmesg). The Undervoltage happens when CPU total is above 100%, this is typically when RPi5 is launching an app or similar intense punctual calculation. Throteling the...)
