  • 18:44, 23 April 2026 103.192.225.59 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X1201 (Sorry guys, the product is amazing. I’ve corrected two issues that was happening, I’ve put some more solder ate the pads that I saw that was not correctly making contact and I’ve corrected one config that was rebooting as it was detecting an issue.)
  • 03:15, 21 April 2026 188.27.32.84 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X1201 (I made the board work with both RPi 1 and RPi 4. I power the RPi X from the 5v Out connector through a cable. I cut off the pin part of a regular prototype PCB and use it to route back 3.3v to the "control pin" and link up the i2c pins - also using cables.)
  • 06:04, 18 April 2026 177.70.175.194 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X1201 (I have an X1201 V1.1 with an RPI5. The pogo pins are touching ok, the pi recognizes the i2c at the 36 address, and the X1201 board shows that it recognizes the PI and everything works until 1min 50sec, and the pi simply reboots. Every 1min50sec it reboots. This is an error from the connection? from the X1201 board? The Pi does not reboots solo. My X1201 board is without batteries, as they did not arrived yet. Can you guys help? Thanks in advance.)

  • 00:19, 23 March 2026 72.208.46.174 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X1201 (NVM - I pursued the issue of no i2c and reseated the Pi 5 on the X1201 - now I am getting the charging light and i2c. It seems like a lot of problems are related to the pin alignment.)
  • 21:45, 22 March 2026 72.208.46.174 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X1201 (I have the X1201, batteries installed, USB-C power to the X1201, the PI 5 boots and runs. My batteries were fully charged when I installed them and I let them run out to watch happens, but now they do not charge. The four charge level lights are out, the 5VO light is red, PI light is green and charging light is dark. What is wrong?)
  • 11:03, 16 July 2025 Lisa talk contribs performed unknown action "comments/add" on X1201 (Hi, you mean after disconnecting the power supply, the X1201 cannot power the RPi5 via the battery, right? Please send the test video by email <info@geekworm.com>. and tell us your order number, please.)
  • 18:51, 15 July 2025 68.197.206.6 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X1201 (When the x1201 is plugged in to USB-C power it detects my Pi and powers it. When I unplug from USB-C the detect Pi LED goes dark and the unit powers down. I am using high-quality, fully-charged Toshiba batteries. I’m pretty sure I have the Pi seated correctly on the pogos. Would the Pi detect LED light when connected to USB power even if the Pi wasn’t properly connected?) Tags: Mobile edit Mobile web edit

  • 14:54, 26 June 2025 Lisa talk contribs performed unknown action "comments/add" on X1201 (Hi, We received your email with installation pictures. But I can't see the status of the power indicator. And I'm curious why you don't just use the USB C port of X1201? We will reply to your question by email. Please pay attention to the email.)

For example, I use OEM samsung batteries. make sure you didnt scratch or peel any traces by accident. If you have a multimeter, you can check battery voltage for if they are failing, and continuity.)

  • 09:01, 25 June 2025 173.54.57.150 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X1201 (Attempt to reseat the ups. Make sure the pogo pins are aligned correctly with each pin. Can you tell me if when you tunr it on, the LED thats labled "PI5" is on. that shows if the pi is detected. It can be tricky to know if the pins are aligned correctly, make sure theres a good connection. If it doesnt sense a pi connected to it, it will turn off after a few seconds as stated on the wiki.)
  • 07:57, 25 June 2025 68.197.206.6 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X1201 (Hi, I have the X1201 connected to my Raspberry Pi 5. When I connect to USB-C, the Pi powers up. When I am not connected to USB-C, when I press the power button on the X1201, the LEDs on the X1201 show the batteries are fully charged and that the Pi is connected. The green Pi LED lights briefly, and then the Pi goes into standby mode with a red LED. I have not changed anything in the Pi setup - I'm using a stock install of the latest Pi OS. What should I do?)

  • 14:38, 23 June 2025 Lisa talk contribs performed unknown action "comments/add" on X1201 (Hi,The external power switch function is the same as the onboard switch.)
  • 10:08, 20 June 2025 173.54.57.150 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X1201 (Does the external power switch act as a full power switch? In context, if its unplugged, running off the 18650 batteries, will turning it on turn on the UPS also? and even the pi 5? Im asking because the PiSugar 2 Plus button acts as a soft power switch, which means making something like a cyberdeck would require 2 power buttons?)

I also appended the if statement: if readVoltage(bus) < 3.20: [bootdown] to: if readVoltage(bus) < 3.20 or readCapacity(bus) < 50: [bootdown] This works great, but the Pi is not booting back up when I restore power. Also I took the liberty of making bat.py a system service. I need the Pi to be booted back up automatically when power is restored - any ideas?)
