Yes. That should help. I'll just need to see how it affects plans once I sit with it a bit.


Thanks for catching the 5521/5525 discrepancy. The PS I got is 5525, but came with a 5525/screw terminal adapter.

1) USB-A - up above, under 'Features ; v3.0 Upgrade Features' ; 3rd bullet - it states 5v 2a.

2), 3), 4) I was pretty sure that's the way amp overage worked, I just wasn't sure if there were limits I wasn't aware of. Thev Pi hat I'm building this for will be the biggest power consumer and I'm sure will be considerably above the 4a rating. Which is fine since it has pads for a screw terminal header that I've already soldered on. Looks like it'll get its own feed from the PS adapter ;)


Might just give everything its own front panel power switch and direct power feed.
