Trying to bridge this UPS to a Pi 500+

Sorry I have two questions:

Attempting to use a blank pi hat and ribbon cable to allow this board to power a pi 500+.

The GPIO pins are the same between the pi 500+ and the Raspberry pi 5 from what I have been able to find. With the gpio pins connected across the hat and UPS and the pi500+ the ups still does not see the pi 500+ as being attached.

What do I need to do to get the UPS to see the pi500+?

I noticed that two of the pogo pins on the UPS are not labeled what is their function when the pi 5 is connected to it?
