hello! before shutdown, i need to perform an action on the RPi..

can the switch off button's message to Rpi be edited in order to perform this action before the acutal safe shutdown?

let's say: 1) switch off pressed 2)message sent from UPS HAT to Rpi in order to manage an additional/external operation from the Rpi (in my case is safely shutdown a device from a Rpi's Gpio) 3)Rpi safe shutdown greetings
