The X725 board does not start the RPi 4 when the power is restored (via micro usb) if the 18650 cells are mounted. However, if the cells are not present, it does switch on the RPi. Is there any way to get this auto on with the cells connected? I already have the pin header for "AUTO-ON" shorted.
