Overview

This USB-C Female to JST XH2.54 Adapter allows the Raspberry Pi 5 to continue using the official/third-party 27W PD adapter for power supply via GPIO, freeing up its native USB-C port for OTG use. It eliminates the need to purchase an additional POE HAT, avoiding additional costs.

Important Note

This is only a test board, supporting a maximum current of 3A, which is intended for testing purposes only. An adapter board supporting 5A high current will be launched later.

Features

  • Wire: AWG22
  • Power Supply Voltage: 5-20V
  • Rated Current: 3A (Note: XH2.54 terminal’s max current is 3A; may not meet Raspberry Pi 5’s power needs in high-load scenarios.)
  • Dimensions: Board Length 9mm, Connector Length 8.8mm, Wire Length 60mm
  • Polarity: V/Red = Positive, G/Black = Negative

Packing List

  • 1× USB-C Female to JST XH2.54 Adapter

User Manual

  • STEP1: Connect the USB-C adapter board to the XH2.54 connector;
  • STEP2: Plug in the charger (as the final step — do not connect it earlier).
  • WARNING:This is very important! Since the adapter board is small, touching it with your fingers during setup may cause a short circuit.
