Looks nice but I need to find another screw - there were only three screws in the plastic bag. What size/number/type of screw should I look for?

Please explain how to use the square copper plate (it is not shown in the above images)? I imagine it fits onto the silver cpu with thermal grease on both sides. However, do we still use the blue thermal pad or not and if we do which side of the copper does the thermal pad go?

Hi,Yes, the square copper plate is used for CPU instead of the blue thermal pad, and silicone grease is applied on both sides; please refer to the installation video above - 1 minute 36 seconds

Hello, can you please tell me the thickness of the Thermal Pad for the CPU ? I broke it and I need to replace it...

(unfortunately I bought the case on Amazon and they only gave 1 set of pads) Thank you!

Hello, we are using Japanese Shin-Etsu 7921 thermal grease. We have not tested other types of silicone grease.

On this case the smallest heatsink post obstructs the access for the camera flat cable. Is it safe to cut this heatsink post out?

Hi,You can cut it off if you want, but please be careful when using tools.

First off: i have no rights to register? I had a heatsink and a fan. Running on 5V it had a temperature of about 47 °C. At 3.3V is was 53°C. Afters installing the P173 rhe temperature of the (quite busy) server was 52°C.

Nice!

After two days of 53°C It now runs at 46°C, I have no idea why it cooled. The load is still 1.

but it's good to see that the P173 cools the same as a heatsink and fan.

Just a small detail which might be interesting to others. With my model, the USB-C power plug sometimes gets direkt contact with the case. I have my Pi on a metal surface (Ikea PS1 cupboard). This sometimes resulted in the power supply not working properly (due to grounding?).

To solve this, I isolated the case edges around the USB-C plug with insulating tape. (Probably putting the case on a rubber/silicon base works just as well.)

To clarify: the encased Pi sits on the metal cupboard. :)

I've got this cute little case with a plate of copper for the cpu. But how can i attach this on the processor without slipping, when i close it?

Hi,that copper sheet needs to be used together with silicone grease for better heat dissipation effect.

Running BOINC on my Raspberry Pi 4B 8GB:

Ambient 23°C Room: Measure Temps using command: vcgencmd measure_temp No case: ~75°C Case: ~62°C

Overall, it meets my objectives, a silent heat dissipating case.

1. Recent packages come with 8 thermal tapes (2 of each type). Is this for redundancy / spare or shall they be "stacked" for better contact between components and heat pillars?

2. I Hope it´s clear for everybody to remove the transparent foil from the tape on both sides before installation ;-)

Great product for anyone requiring passive cooling. One of the only passive cooling solutions with 4 point cooling pillars including the USB controller. USB controller gets hot on the pi4 so that is a major plus. Scalpel or sharp blade recommended for separating the plastic covers either side of the thermal pads. Well engineered case, fits really well. I would buy another

I bought this package. This is not correct , I got 8 little thermal tapes instead of 3.

But you must put only one in each location (4)

It would be nice to have the photos illustrating the installation available here - as well as on the Amazon site. All in all, I think that this is a very nice product, and I recommend it, especially for those who don't want to deal with fans.
