Asus K53SV-Laptop is a black screen and external monitor that is plugged into the graphics card says it’s not getting signal from the CPU. The USB ports don’t give any power. When I tried to put the WiFi card back in and try to get it back to normal, the laptop still has a black screen. It’s like it just doesn't have a graphics card to use. You guys might need to remove it from your support list unless I did something wrong. Specifications- 8gb ram Intel-i7 2670QM Nvidia GeForce 610m and Integrated Graphics 3000 Asus Monitor I’m upgrading to a GTX750 Ti

Plz someone help, otherwise I’m going to have to take the electronics out of my laptop and put it on a motherboard and build a pc out of it. Plz help me, I really need help, nothing works on it. Oh also, the Lightbulb the caps lock, and the number lock are all on when I boot up the laptop. The power light is also on.

hallow I have a dell inspiron 15-3225 laptop, am using zotac gtx460 to connect with the exp gdc doc,now after installing everything my laptop cant power on with the exp gdc connection,, I have tried the sleep mode and also uninstalled the built in graphics plus the wifi but still no results,,what am I doing wrong thanks

This is my 2nd comment ..My laptop have black screen and i have gtx750ti and my laptop is dell e6420 i5 2ndgen ..the problem is when i plug exp gdc dock laptop intrrnaldisplay not work and then if i use external moniter its works fine .

With external moniter its only shows gtx750ti on device manager(display adopters) .. integreated graphics which intell hd3000 not show ..plz help me i spend almos5 50$

I have a problem regarding my EXP GDC dock. I have already ordered the dock (mini PCIe version). And after completing the setup as indicated in the manual and connecting the power cables plus the mini PCIe cable, I do not get GPU detection in device manager. I have an ASUS laptop model: K55VD. Can you please help with this issue? No matter what I do, the graphics card will not get detected in Device Manager even though everything is connected correctly. I would appreciate your help. Hello sir, We suggest that you can try as follow: 1. Try it like the sleep way.Do not connect the cable of graphic card, start up your laptop, go to sleep when you go in the system, then plug the cable to wake it up. 2. Please check the memory stick (no more than 2GB per slot) 3. Upgrade the BIOS, maybe is better. 4. Replug the two sides connection interface of Mini PCI-E

5. Change N card, Nvida video card is better in compatibility.

dear sir, thank you very much for your reply! so i have already tried hotpluging the mini PCIe cable from sleep mode, unfortunatelly still no success :( Can you please explain what you mean by "Replug the two sides connection interface of Mini PCI-E"? Do you mean it is better to power up the graphics card from the adaptor, rather than directly from PSU? PS: I am using Nvidia GTX 1060 (EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB SC GAMING) and it takes 6 pin power. In my case iam currently powering it up directly from the PSU. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Yes I have downloaded and installed the Auguest 2016 driver (372.70 version). However there is still no detection of eGPU by the system :( :( as in nothing will show up in device manager

Good afternoon I have a doubt my pc is an acer e-5 475g I will put a link with the image of my board, my question is the following my adapter wifi network is with port NGFF would have to buy the exp gdc with that port, and also I have another doubt next to the ram memory denotes a port similar to m2, but I think they fit hard drive in solid state also in formag ngff. I’ve been trying to help a friend install a GTX 1050 egpu on his HP 8470p EliteBook (which is a laptop on the supported list). He has 8 gigabytes of ram and an integrated HD 5000 graphics chip. He has tried both the Mini PCI-E version and the express card versions of the graphics card dock, and both have just given him a black screen while the caps lock and other lights that usually flash during post just continue to flash. He went as far as to update his bios and try an AMD card instead, but the computer will not post with any graphics card inserted into the slot at power on. We have both read over the manuals here multiple times and looked for YouTube videos, but nothing seems to help. Does anyone have any idea why the computer won’t boot?
