I was excited to get my new x705 but quickly became disappointed when I learned that in order to power my Raspberry pi 4b I would have to use some pins of the 40 pins. This essentially renders the rest of the header useless to me because I need the entire 40 pins for my small touch screen. What is my work around here? I thought I might use one of the 5v outlets and graft it to a USB-C end. It says I should not use the USB port. Why!
