Dear Lisa and Harry, as mentioned earlier, i am powering my HDDs with Corsair 850 W ATX PSU. That is fine, now, i would like to use 5 V output from Corsair to power Raspi to sort of offload onboard (on the SATA hat) 12 V to 5 V regulator. Can i feed 5 V from Corsair to the hat via the HDD connector? As You can imagine, Corsair has plenty of power for my Raspi and this way i would like to derease heat produced by the hat... thanks
