I recommend you to contact GeekWorm by email, to see if they can help you out now that it's clear that the X850 is not fully compatible with the X735.

I would like to also share an idea. You can make a hole on the back of the metal case just to pass the "frankstein" cable through. So then you can connect to the micro usb and supply the X850 with 5v from the X735. This is just a workaround until you solve the problem with GeekWorm.
