I am wondering about one thing: Are there GPIOs from the HDMI switch TO the CM4? So you can check which output is currently selected via GPIO?

The buttons are routed, obvious by your documentation, but I am wondering if there is GPIO the other way around, so I could modify the PiKVM UI to show the current selection?
