  • 12:16, 22 December 2025 Ruby talk contribs performed unknown action "comments/add" on X680 (Hi there! To help troubleshoot quickly, could you try these steps first: 1.Are you using a USB HUB with the laptop? 2.Test connecting directly to a different USB port on the laptop (no USB HUB). 3.Can external keyboards/mice work when plugged directly into the X680’s USB ports? Plus, if convenient, sharing photos or videos would be super helpful for us to diagnose the issue. You can reach us via email at support@geekworm.com (Note: Please include your order number and purchase platform)....)

I have rebooted remotely, I have had a person go a physically unplug the X680 and wait 10 seconds before plugging it back. the network and computer are green, but the keyboard and mouse stay orange. sometimes the keyboard will be green. It is a laptop, but I am at a loss of what could be wrong when it was working without a flaw.)

  • 17:38, 9 September 2024 Harry talk contribs performed unknown action "comments/add" on X680 (>> If it doesn't support remote MSD, you should add some note about it. I have no problem because I can boot from network. Thanks for your support. The X680 doesn't support PiKVM's [https://docs.pikvm.org/msd/ Mass Storage Drive] because it already supports hotkey switching. The integrated USB hub supports data sharing between 4 target hosts and can also be used for one of them, which will be available even in BIOS/UEFI when you need a live disk to revive the OS or even reinstall it. Yes, this one work as expected. The one that doesn't work is remote MSD. All kvm products that I brought from Geekwork before have working remote MSD so I didn't mind to check at wiki page if this unit support remote MSD or not. If it doesn't support remote MSD, you should add some note about it. I have no problem because I can boot from network.)

You can use this USB port to connect any USB MASS device, which will be recognized by the target computer you switch to.)

I purchased this unit on july 21, it should be same lot as your. It doesn't work at all, i'm not sure if it is Pikvm update or this unit doesn't support this feature from the beginning (unlikely). It is kind of disappointing tha MSD doesn't work, because it is the most useful feature of remote kvm switch. More useful than 4 usb slots at front panel.)

  • 07:56, 28 August 2024 50.47.241.7 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X680 (I am wondering about one thing: Are there GPIOs from the HDMI switch TO the CM4? So you can check which output is currently selected via GPIO? The buttons are routed, obvious by your documentation, but I am wondering if there is GPIO the other way around, so I could modify the PiKVM UI to show the current selection?)
  • 03:52, 19 August 2024 135.180.84.31 talk performed unknown action "comments/add" on X680 (I purchased a Geekworm x680 in July 2024 so I assume it is v1.5. Using it with a CM4 without eMMC, and with a MicroSD card. Everything works except for the Mass Storage Device feature. Anyone else having this problem? I installed the latest pikvm, then updated it (to KVMD 4.3).   I have two PC's connected to the x680. I've tried Windows 10 install iso, several ubuntu desktop iso, system rescue cd iso, clonezilla, freedos, Windows 10 installer iso in a Ventoy image, etc. but none that the...)

Let's see how good their support is.)
