How many amps can the x820 pass to attached devices using the 5v USB and two 5v pin headers?

I'm reusing my x820 in a new project with a hat that needs quite a bit of power. I've sourced a new 5v@10a 5.5x2.5 power supply and I'm trying to decide how I should wire things...

1) is there anything on the x820 that's going to see 10 amps and get damaged?

2) I believe the 5v USB is capped at 2a, is this true?

3) do the 5v pin headers have an amp cap?

4) is the 2 amp shared between USB and pins?

5) is my better bet to use a screw terminal-to-5.5x2.5 adapter and give each component its own direct feed?
