UPS X1203 works really well. All I need is for the batteries to start charging when the power is connected. Turn on/off X1203 only when the button is pressed. For example: your laptop doesn't turn on automatically when you decide to charge its battery. And I agree that the warranty will be cancelled (as you wrote).
